Welcomes you....The Jhitku Mitki Van Hastkala Samiti is a registered Society under the Firms and Society Act of 1973 which has been formed by the Department of Forests, Government of Chhattisgarh under the Policy of Joint Forest Management with the support of State Forest Development Agency (SFDA). Society consists of Nationally and Internationally renowned artisans belonging to various handicrafts. The Society is a conglomerate of 120 SHGs involving the poorest 1341 artisan families from Kondagaon, Bastar, Naryanapur and Raigarh regions of the State.
The main objectives of forming this Society , a first of its kind in the country under JFM Policy were :

To prevent the exploitation of the artisans by middlemen

To provide them a platform to attain autonomy along with a legal status

To perform the technological up gradation of the processes and procedures involved in the making of the handicraft products so as to increase the efficiency.

To perform the skill up gradation of the artisans so that they are able to stay abreast with the latest demands of the market and are able to sustain their profession

To make available the most genuine handcrafted products of Chhattisgarh to the public at the best possible price

To implement the most modern methods, technologies and platforms for the efficient and effective marketing of the products so that the society can achieve greater benefits for its members.
